Kris Aquino apologizes to Herbert Bautista

MANILA, Philippines – TV host and actress Kris Aquino apologized to Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista on her show after she accused him of taking her from granted. 

On the episode of KrisTV which aired Tuesday, July 7, Kris said she should not have talked about her opinion of him, saying it was in bad taste.

In an earlier episode of the show, Kris complained how Herbert did not even check on her after she got sick from her allergies. She told him that if he were a true friend, he would have asked how she was doing.

“Na-realize ko I was being bad kasi nagpaka-gracious naman siya to guest here in the show.

(I realize I was being bad because he was very gracious to guest here in the show.)

“So, dapat hiwalay yung feelings na I was taken for granted as opposed to feelings na nagtatrabaho ka ngayon. 

(So I should have separated my feelings that I was taken fro granted as opposed to feelings that you were working.)

“So, dapat, ‘di ba, as a common courtesy, parang kinulang naman ako... At least, na-acknowledge ko na I was wrong,” she said. (I lacked common courtesy, but at least I acknowledged I was wrong) 

Kris told Herbert it won’t happen again.

“Dapat ganoon ang sorry (that’s how one should be sorry). I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. I promise it won’t happen again, what can I do to make it up to you,” Kris  said.

“Pero ‘yung basis lang naman ng pagso-sorry ko (eh) I was not a gracious host. Kasi nagbigay siya ng oras, tapos inulit-ulit ko, at kinulit-kulit ko at binrat brat ko sa kanya na three days niya akong dinedma.”

(But my basis of  saying sorry is because I was not a gracious host. Because you gave the time and then I kept pestering you and being a brat to you about the three days you ignored me.)

Kris and Herbert were previously linked with each other after Kris admitted last year that they were dating. But it fizzled out with Kris saying that they decided to be friends.

Last May, Kris announced that she and Herbert are set to do a movie directed by Antoinette Jadaone entitled Mr and Mrs Split. – Rappler.com
