MANILA, Philippines – Japanese star Maria Ozawa said that she was surprised  that people made a big deal of a satirical report about her and Kris Aquino online. 

In an interview with reporters after the FHM 100 Sexiest Event Saturday, July 11, Maria said given the chance, she would apologize to Kris. 

“I was surprised. I don’t know who said it first, but everybody was making a big deal out of it. So if I have a chance to speak to her (Kris) one day, I’ll just apologize,” she said. 

Last week, Kris issued a statement after the website called Manila Link came out with a supposed interview with her about Maria being linked to her brother President Benigno Aquino III.  

In a statement via Pep, Kris said she never gave an interview and she was never asked about Maria being linked to her brother. She said she was abroad with her two kids when the supposed interview happened.

“So, sa akin lang, kung mag-iingay, sana huwag na akong gamitin,” Kris said.

(For me, if they want to create noise, I hope they won’t use me to do so.)

Meanwhile, Maria said that walking on the runway for FHM was a great first event for her.

“This is my first time in the runway, the catwalk. So next time when I come back I want to try something new,” she said.

She also said that she is set to come back next month for the shooting of her movie with Robin Padilla entitled Nilalang. (WATCH: Maria Ozawa on PH showbiz career, leaving the porn industry)
