MANILA, Philippines - It may not have been as out of this earth as an Alexander McQueen show, but the designers of the Grand Allure show of Philippine Fashion Week Summer 2013's last day on October 28 certainly showed that they can think out of the box.

In fact, for some of the designs, there seemed to have been no box at all.

Aris Pico, Boyet Dysangco, Cherry Samuya Veric, Delby Bragais, Emily Sy, Fanny Serrano, Frederick Policarpio, Gil Macaibay, June Pugat, Marc Rancy, Nolie Vineza, Popo Go and Randall Solomon unleashed their imagination on the runway with artsy pieces that can inspire not just fashion lovers and young designers but art lovers and aspiring artists, too.

And of course, since it was a showcase of summer fashion dictation, lace, sheer and flowy fabrics were also present.
