Pinoy transgender wins beauty tilt in Thailand

MANILA, Philippines - Filipino transgender beauty titlist Kevin Balot bested 21 contestants from 15 countries to be crowned Miss International Queen 2012 in Pattaya, Thailand on Friday, November 2, reports said.
As the winner, Balot, 21, will bring home $10,000 and represent the transgender/transsexual pageant around the world.
The stunner from Tarlac City also bagged the Miss Photogenic award.
Aside from Balot, 4 Filipino contestants also made it to the final stage but only two were able to move on to the Top 10. - Rappler.com
