MANILA, Philippines - On December 11, the Miss Universe 2012 candidates spent time with the sick children of Care4Kids Foundation and did artwork with them.

Miss Philippines Janine Tugonon worked with a young girl named Maria and posted this tweet:

Please pray with me for Maria. She's 12 y/o and diagnosed with leukemia. Prayers work and miracles happen. #Care4Kids twitter.com/janine_tugonon…

Voting for semifinalists is ongoing at the Miss Universe website.

The Preliminary Competition will be streamed at the website on December 14, Manila time.

The National Costume Show will also be streamed on December 15, Manila time.

As of 3 pm on December 12, the Miss Universe 2012 individual interviews are taking place, according to Janine's official Facebook page. Jonas Gaffud, Janine's (re)discoverer, is already in Las Vegas with Janine's mom, Miss Tess Tugonon, and the team of OPMB Worldwide.
