MANILA, Philippines - "Just because I'm not able to do it today doesn't mean I'm not gonna be able to do it someday."

So said Arthur Boorman in a YouTube video titled "Never, Ever Give Up" produced by filmmaker Steve Yu and published on April 30, 2012. The inspirational video immediately went viral. As of writing, the video has had 7,449,288 shares.

The video begins with Boorman as an overweight, disabled Gulf War veteran who was told by doctors that "he would never be able to walk on his own" again. He was a paratrooper, and the jumps he made took a toll on his knees and back.

According to the video, Boorman was turned away by Yoga instructors because of the state he was in. Then he stumbled upon DDP (Diamond Dallas Page) Yoga and wrote to instructor Diamond Dallas Page about his story.

The video shows Boorman literally falling and getting back up several times while getting started with Yoga. You'll flinch while watching, finding yourself relating with his struggle to regain control over his life, and to prove the doctors wrong.
