(UPDATED) MANILA, Philippines - On February 21, the final screening of candidates for the 2013 Binibining Pilipinas pageant was held at Gateway Suites, Quezon City.

Seventy aspirants who were called back from the preliminary screenings last February 11 to 13 were cut down to 50.

According to OPMB Worldwide, some of the judges who determined the final 50 contestants were:

• ABS-CBN Special Projects head Chit Guerrero
• ABS-CBN head writer Chris Violago
• Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up Venus Raj
• Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup
• Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Tugonon (she was also unveiled today as one of the new Pond's ambassadors)
