MANILA, Philippines – Ballet Philippines gave Rappler a behind-the-curtains peek at the open rehearsals of their newest ballet production, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Interviews with artistic director Paul Morales, choreographer Carlo Pacis, cast members and Ballet Philippines president Margie Moran-Floirendo reveal a modern twist to the Shakespeare classic.

Audiences can look forward to a neo-Asian fairyland, modern dance steps and, of course, a timeless love story everyone can enjoy during this month of hearts.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will show at the CCP Main Theater from February 15 to 17 with an afternoon and evening show on each day.
