WATCH: PH bet Catriona Gray’s Miss World 2016 journey

MANILA, Philippines – Miss Philippines Catriona Gray finished in the Top 5 of the Miss World pageant held at the MGM National Harbor in Maryland, USA on Sunday, December 18 (Monday, December 19 in Manila). 

Puerto Rico’s Stephanie del Valle was crowned as Miss World 2016, while Dominican Republic’s Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramírez placed 2nd runner-up. Indonesia’s Natasha Mannuela came in 3rd place. (FULL LIST: Winners, Miss World 2016)

Catriona had been one of the heavy favorites to win the title. She won the multimedia challenge, which earned her a spot in the Top 20. 

A professional model, Catriona was crowned Miss World Philippines 2016 last October by Miss World 2015 Hillarie Parungao.
