EMBEDDED TWEETS. Twitter enhances the capabilities and speed of tweet embeds.

MANILA, Philippines - There appears to have been a good reason for some of the site issues Twitter had earlier in the week. According to the Twitter blog, the service has enhanced functionality of embedded tweets.

The Twitter blog notes that embedded tweets will now "display photos, videos, article summaries and other content shared in a Tweet, just like you see on twitter.com."

The embedded tweets will also load more quickly now, and the process of embedding is made simpler by having the embed code quickly accessible through the "More" button on a tweet.

As an example, this article has a Rappler tweet embedded above. As expected, you can now see the contents of pictures or links added to a tweet.
