Blizzard opens StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm pre-orders

MANILA, Philippines - Strategy game fans have something new to look forward to in the coming months. Blizzard Entertainment has opened up pre-orders for their upcoming strategy video game, Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm.
The game, which is set as an expansion to Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, continues the story set in Wings of Liberty by focusing on the former leader of the Zerg, Sarah Kerrigan, as she tries to reassert her leadership of the Zerg forces after losing her powers.
The game features 20 single-player missions, refinements to the game's systems, and a new system of evolution that allows for customization of your forces' capabilities.
The release date for the game is slated for March 12, 2013. It will come in both a physical disc format as well as digital versions.
Blizzard has also released the opening cinematic for Heart of the Swarm to whet players' appetites for the upcoming game.
