MANILA, Philippines - The time for Galaxy S IV rumors is over. Samsung will be making a new bid for smartphone supremacy, saying it will reveal the Samsung Galaxy S IV in New York on March 14.
The announcement was confirmed by the Edaily news website (Korean), and Reuters has a translation of the pertinent portion.
Samsung's mobile division chief JK Shin was quoted as saying, "We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York)... as we were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country."
