MANILA, Philippines - On Wednesday, March 6, BlackBerry announced the Philippine launch of the BlackBerry Z10, its new flagship smartphone operating on the BlackBerry 10 operating system.

The BlackBerry Z10 sports a 4.2-inch touchscreen with a 1280x768 resolution. It will run on a Dual-core 1.5GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, and come with 16GB of internal storage and an expandable memory card slot that supports up to 64GB cards.

The Z10 also sports a micro HDMI out port for presentations and sensors that support near field communications for mobile payments and information exchange.

Additional details regarding some of the features of the Blackberry Z10 as well as the Blackberry 10 OS were made available back at the original world launch of the Blackberry Z10 in New York back in January.
