MANILA, Philippines - Formspring, the social question and answer service, will be closing its doors on March 31.
A blog post from Formspring founder and CEO Ade Olonoh says "it’s been challenging to sustain the resources needed to keep the lights on," and as such, the service will stop users from asking questions or putting up content on the service on March 31. Formspring's site and its applications will go dark on April 15, with content getting permanently deleted by that time.
Between now and April 15, however, users will have the ability to export data by logging into their account and going to a Formspring export page.
After clicking the export button and waiting for an email, you'll be able to return to the export page to download a zip file with the data. - Rappler.com
