Apple iOS 6.1.3 fixes security flaw

MANILA, Philippines - Apple on Tuesday, March 19, released a software update for the iOS operating system, bumping it up to version 6.1.3.

According to the update notes, 6.1.3 fixes the passcode-bypassing security issue present on iOS since February. The update also adds improvements to the Maps app in Japan.

The update can be downloaded over-the-air through the software update function of the Settings app or via the iTunes desktop app on Windows and/or Mac. - Rappler.com
