MANILA, Philippines – Starmobile’s newest phone the Diamond goes on sale Saturday, April 13, 2013. The sub-P10,000 phone’s standout feature is its screen. The 5-inch, 720 x 1080 high definition display is made of DragonTrail glass, touted to be scratch resistant and up to 6 times tougher than other smartphones in its price range.

The phone runs on Android 4.1.1 Jellybean, a 1GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, and comes with 4GB of on board storage – upgradable via its microSD card slot. Starmobile promises enhanced low light performance on both its 3MP front facing camera and 12MP rear camera.
