MANILA, Philippines – Multiply, the social network turned online market, announced its site closure and cessation of business operations for May 6 and May 31, respectively.

Multiply said in an announcement that it would “maintain normal site operations through May 6.”

Following this, the rest of May will be used to ensure accounts are settled and transactions are completed, in addition to giving merchants time to find a new platform to sell from.

While not posted on its social media accounts, Multiply does announce the closure on a subpage and as a banner on the site. Here’s to hoping the employees and merchants who were a part of Multiply can rebound from this loss. – Rappler.com
