MANILA, Philippines – Unless your favorite Korean celebrity is Sandara Park who occasionally tweets in English or Filipino, following your K-pop idol (or in Korean lingo, “bias”) on Twitter can be tough.

If you’re tired of switching your browser tabs from Twitter to Google Translate, here’s an app for you.

The K Star Tweet app, powered by the expertise of Korean/English language teachers, translates tweets of Korean celebrities from Korean into English, reports CNET.

Compared to translations done over Google Translate, CNET says the app offers grammatically-correct translations. You can also bookmark your favorite celebrities for quick access to their tweets.

The only downside of the app is that tweets don’t arrive in real-time. Users will have to wait for the tweets to get entered into the system first. 

A free, add-supported version of the app is available on both iOS and Android but users will have to wait 10 seconds each time they want to translate a tweet.  Users who don’t want to wait can avail of an optional in-app purchase. The service costs US$0.99 (approx. P43) for 28 days, US$5.99 (P260) for 180 days, and US$11.99 (P519) for a full year. 

Most Korean celebrities are actually on me2day instead of Twitter, but if you can’t help but wonder what Sandara is tweeting to actor Jung Il Woo, then give this app a try.
