In May 2015, Rappler launched #PHVote: The Leader I Want, the theme of our 2016 presidential elections coverage. As we enter yet another crucial point in our country’s history, we in Rappler believe that the youth have major roles to play in choosing the right leaders.
To empower the Filipino youth in choosing the leaders the country deserves, Rappler and its civic engagement arm, MovePH, will hold #PHVote Challenge: CDO’s #TheLeaderIWant. The event aims to engage the youth and get their sentiments on issues they want to raise in the upcoming elections.
The event will be held on Thursday, December 10, from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Nursing Amphitheater of Xavier University, Rappler’s partner for this event.
