TOPS 2014: 10 outstanding PH public school students chosen

MANILA, Philippines – No matter how challenging the circumstances, these teenagers have managed to beat the odds by displaying scholastic and leadership excellence.

The names of the ten 4th-year high school students, who will receive recognition and financial support from the Kabayan Noli de Castro Foundation, Inc. in order to pursue a college degree, was announced on February 16, 2015. 

The foundation opened the search in October 2014.

The Ten Oustanding Public Schools Student of the Philippines (TOPS) are chosen from thousands of applicants across the country competing for the Leadership Exemplary Award and Academic Excellence Award categories.

Four students in each category won, representing Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and the National Capital Region. There will also be two winners of the Kabayan Special Achievement Award, selected from the national finalists.
