#SexTalk: Why has ‘My Husband’s Lover’ become such a hit?

Since its June premiere, ‘My Husband’s Lover’ has received much attention from viewers and critics alike. The drama series created and developed by writer Suzette Doctolero explores a topic that has never before been done on mainstream television: gay relationships.

GMA 7’s latest telenovela is a love story that explores the conflict of a married man with a male ‘lover’, as told from the perspective of the wife named Lally. With a compelling script and a strong leading cast, starring Carla Abellana (as Lally), newcomer Tom Rodriguez (as Vincent, Lally’s husband), and Dennis Trillo (as Vincent’s ‘lover’), fans are captivated.
