New Coast Guard chief named
MANILA, Philippines - President Benigno Aquino III on Thursday evening, December 13, announced the appointment of Rear Admiral Rodolfo Isorena as the new Coast Guard commandant.
He is replacing Vice Admiral Edmund Tan.
The turn over of command ceremony will take place on Friday, December 14.
Isorena was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral under the Philippine Coast Guard in May. - Rappler.com
