But he still attended the session on Monday, December 17, to cast his vote in favor of the Reproductive Health bill (RH bill).
"I got out on a temporary pass just to vote," Quimbo said.
"I've never been absent from session since I joined Congress. Today is definitely not the best time to break that streak," he said on his Twitter account @miroquimbo.
On a wheelchair, he was wheeled to the clinic inside the Plenary Hall. From there, Quimbo managed to walk to his seat. His doctor carried his dextrose.
The final vote in the House was 133-79-7 in favor of the RH bill. - Rappler.com
