Identities of the abductors are still unknown
MANILA, Philippines - At least 3 died in two separate fires that struck Metro Manila on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, authorities said.
The Bureau of Fire Protection said that in Quezon City, fire struck a residential area in Aguilar Street, Barangay Bungad, Project 7. The fire reached Task Force Charlie at 5:47 a.m. before it was put under control more than an hour later.
According to the BFP, at least 3 died in this fire. There are reports that 3 others were missing.
Another fire in San Juan City started at 2:25 am did not cause any deaths but left at least 2,000 families in Barangay St. Joseph homeless.
The fire was quickly elevated to General Alarm, the highest alarm requiring all firetrucks to respond to the area. The fire was declared out at 7:09 a.m.
The cause of the two fires remain undetermined at this time.
On Monday, December 24, fire also struck a commercial building in Divisoria, Manila, injuring 3. It took firemen 10 hours to put the fire under control. - Rappler.com
