MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) found the belongings of murdered advertising executive Kae Davantes on Saturday, September 21.

In a phone interview with Rappler, Kae’s uncle Vince Davantes said Kae’s sister positively identified the recovered iPhone and laptop as Kae’s.

ABS-CBN earlier reported that Samuel Decimo, who confessed to being part of the group that killed Davantes, brought agents to Muntinlupa where the laptop and cellphone were found. According to a GMA News Online report, however, the gadgets were found in Laguna.

An NBI source earlier indicated that the group — composed of Decimo and 4 others at-large — sold or threw out most of Kae’s belongings in different areas. Rappler.com
