MANILA, Philippines – Former President and incumbent Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is set to ask the anti-graft court Sandiganbayan to allow her to attend the wake of her grandson, who died Sunday, November 2, reports said.  

The motion for the 9-day furlough will be filed Monday, lawyer Larry Gadon, Arroyo’s legal adviser told reporters Sunday. 

The youngest son of Arroyo’s daughter Luli Arroyo-Bernas and husband, Luigi, died Sunday morning at the Philippine Heart Center due to a heart ailment.
