MANILA, Philippines - This is a footage from the press conference held by House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. and Majority Floor Leader Neptali Gonzales II hours before the Supreme Court was supposed to hold its en banc session on the motions for certiorari filed by Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Belmonte says he cannot see the wisdom in Chief Justice's move to go to the Supreme Court for relief. "Siguro ayaw ipakita ang laman," he said, referring to the bank accounts the prosecution sought to subpoena. (Perhaps they don't want others to see the contents)
