What has happened so far?
Roughly a week ago, the Office of the Ombudsman asked Chief Justice Renato Corona to explain his assets, including at least US$10 in dollar deposits.
The prosecution panel, meanwhile, said that it has no information about Corona’s alleged dollar bank accounts and added that they would await the Ombudsman’s reports before they decide on how they will handle reports about Corona’s bank deposits.
The defense panel, meanwhile, will resume in the presentation of evidence to counter allegations in Article 2 of the complaint.
