MANILA, Philippines – Cloudy skies will persist over parts of the country on Saturday, September 19, according to state weather bureau PAGASA. 

In its 5 pm bulletin on Friday, September 18, PAGASA said the following areas will continue to experience light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms in the next 24 hours:
  • Visayas
  • Bicol Region
  • Caraga
  • Northern Mindanao
  • Palawan
An intertropical convergence zone is still affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao. 
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated thunderstorms.
Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the northeast to northwest over Luzon and Visayas, and from the southwest over Mindanao.
