Cloudy skies for Visayas, Mindanao on Monday

MANILA, Philippines – Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms on Monday, February 8, state weather bureau PAGASA said. 

In its 5 pm bulletin on Sunday, February 7, the weather agency said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over bicol region and Quezon province.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience light rains.

PAGASA added that a northeast monsoon is still affecting Northern and Central Luzon, while the Bicol region is experiencing the tail-end of a cold front. 

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and from east to northeast winds over Visayas, causing moderate to rough seas.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate elsewhere as light to moderate winds blow from the east to northeast.
