Isolated rains in PH on Monday

MANILA, Philippines – The whole country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies on Monday, July 18, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its afternoon bulletin on Sunday, July 17, PAGASA said that these skies will also bring isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

It added that a ridge of a high pressure area is extending across Luzon.

At 4 pm, PAGASA spotted a low pressure area located 785 km east of Basco, Batanes.

Light to moderate winds will blow from the southeast to southwest will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon. Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience wind from the southeast. 

Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
