Light to moderate rain in parts of PH on Sunday

MANILA, Philippines – Luzon, Visayas, and the regions of Northern Mindanao and CARAGA will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms on Sunday, August 21.

In its 24-hour forecast Saturday afternoon, state weather bureau PAGASA said that a monsoon trough is affecting Luzon and Visayas.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will also prevail over the rest of Mindanao.

Moderate to strong winds will blow from northwest to west over northern and central Luzon, and from southwest to west over Visayas and the rest of Luzon. The seas in these areas will be moderate to rough, added PAGASA.

Meanwhile, winds from the southwest will be light to moderate over the rest of the country, with slight to moderate seas.
