Light-moderate rain in parts of Luzon on Monday

MANILA, Philippines – Regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, and the provinces of Batanes, Zambales, Bataan, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and Cagayan including Babuyan Group of Islands will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms on Monday, September 19.

According to its afternoon bulletin on Sunday, September 18, state weather bureau PAGASA said that Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

It added that a southwest monsoon is affecting the western section of Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds from the southweast will prevail over Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will have light to moderate winds from the southwes with slight to moderate seas.
