MANILA, Philippines – Different parts of the country will experience cloudy skies on Friday, November 18, according to state weather bureau PAGASA. 

In its 5 pm bulletin on Thursday, November 17, PAGASA said the regions of Eastern Visayas, Bicol, Caraga, and the provinces of Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, and Oriental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

The rest of Visayas and Mindanao, as well as the provinces of Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan will also have cloudy skies but with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. Cloudy skies with light rains are expected over Cagayan Valley.

The regions of Ilocos and Cordillera will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. 

The trough of a low pressure area is affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. 

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast over Northern Luzon and Central Luzon, causing moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, coastal waters will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the east to northeast. – Rappler.com
