MANILA, Philippines - State weather bureau PAGASA downgraded typhoon Pablo (Bopha) from a tropical depression to a low pressure area (LPA).

In its last bulletin on Pablo - released 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 9 - PAGASA said Pablo was located 105 kilomters West of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte as of 4 p.m.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and the provinces of Ilocos will continue to have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains as Pablo exits the country, the bulletin said.

Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will also blow over Northern and Central Luzon. The coastal waters of these areas will be moderate to rough.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with brief rainshowers or thunderstorms, the bulletin added.
