The northeast monsoon, or Amihan, continues to prevail over weather conditions in Luzon while an intertropical convergence zone is affecting weather in Southern Mindanao, PAGASA said in its 5am weather forecast Saturday, December 22. 

The weather bureau reported that Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao can expect cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. 

PAGASA added that the regions of Cagayan Valley and Bicol and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains.
