MANILA, Philippines - It will be rainy the day before Christmas, according to the 5 p.m. bulletin of state weather bureau PAGASA on Sunday, December 23.

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will affect the weather in Luzon on Monday, December 24, possibly bringing light rain to Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, the bulletin said.

Cloudy skies and light to moderate rainshowers are also expected in Mindanao and Eastern Visayas because of the Intertropical Convergent Zone (ITCZ) looming over Southern Mindanao.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with brief rainshowers or thunderstorms.

The sun will rise at 6:18 a.m. and set at 5:34 p.m.
