Amihan to bring rain over Luzon

MANILA, Philippines - The northeast monsoon or hanging amihan will affect northern and central Luzon on Friday, December 28, weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 5 am public weather forecast, PAGASA said that the phenomenon will bring rain to the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, Bicol region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with brief rain or thunderstorms.

Tropical storm Quinta, downgraded to first to a tropical depression and finally a low pressure area on Thursday, dissipated before exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility over the South China Sea (West Philippine Sea).

Moderate to strong Northeast-East will prevail throughout the archipelago and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough. - Rappler.com
