(UPDATED) MANILA, Philippines - Tropical Depression Bising has moved farther from the country Sunday, January 13.
Bising was last spotted 985 km east of Aparri, Cagayan, carrying maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center.
Bising is moving at a pace of 24 km/h, and is forecast to move north, the state weather bureau PAGASA said.
As the tropical depression moves away from the country, the island of Samar and the Bicol region will have cloudy skies with occasional light to moderate rain and thunderstorms.
Cagayan Valley, the Ilocos Region, and the Cordilleras will also have cloudy skies with light rain.
The rest of the archipelago, PAGASA said, will have partly cloudy skies with brief rain or thunderstorms.
