MANILA, Philippines - The northeast monsoon, or the Amihan, will continue to affect Luzon, as the tail-end of a cold front is being felt in Eastern Visayas, state weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday, January 24.
Bicol, Cagayan Valley, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will be cloudy, accompanied by light rain, while Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain or thunderstorms.
The northeast monsoon is already weakening, PAGASA told dzBB radio, and Luzon can expect better weather in the following days.
The rest of the country will be partly cloudy with brief light rain, the bureau added.
Prevailing winds will be coming from the northeast.
