Monday weather: Cloudy skies in northeast Luzon

MANILA, Philippines - The northeast monsoon, which returned over the weekend, continues to affect parts of Luzon, as many areas are poised to have cloudy skies and rain Monday, February 11.

Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rain, while the rest of the Philippines will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rain or thunderstorms.

Eastern Visayas will have light to moderate rain, while isolated rain will be felt in parts of Bicol, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and the Davao region, PAGASA said in its 24-hour public weather forecast.

Prevailing winds will be coming from the northeast, and will be moderate to strong over Luzon and Eastern Visayas.

No tropical cyclone is currently within the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
