MANILA, Philippines - It will be a rainy Tuesday, February 12, for many parts of the country, including Metro Manila and Central Visayas, site of the major political rallies heralding the start of the election season.
The tail-end of the cold front and the northeast monsoon are the two systems affecting the country, particularly areas in Luzon.
Bicol and Eastern Visayas are forecast to experience cloudy skies accompanied by light to moderate rain and thunderstorms, while Cagayan Valley, Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and Aurora province will have light rain.
Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao region will have isolated rain or thunderstorms, and will have partly cloudy skies.
The rest of the country will be partly cloudy, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
Prevailing winds will come from the northeast. No tropical cyclone is within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Temperatures in Metro Manila will range from 21-32°C, while Metro Cebu will have temperatures between 24-29°C.
