MANILA, Philippines - Going out on a date Thursday, February 14? If you're in parts of the country's east coast, prepare for possible rain.
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rain is in the forecast for Eastern Visayas, Cagayan Valley, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, state weather bureau PAGASA said. Thunderstorms are also possible in the Samar-Leyte area, the bureau said.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, especially over Davao, Caraga, and Northern Mindanao.
With the northeast monsoon, or "Amihan," prevailing winds will be coming from the northeast.
There are no tropical cyclones in the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau added.
