MANILA, Philippines – Rain will pour in the cities of Cagayan de Oro, Tacloban, and Davao on Friday, February 15, as the northeast monsoon affects the eastern section of Luzon and the Visayas, the state weather bureau said.
These 3 cities will experience cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its weather bulletin on Friday. Meanwhile, the cities of Iloilo, Bacolod, and Cebu should expect partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila should expect partly cloudy skies with brief rain, PAGASA added.
The effects of the northeast monsoon will also bring cloudy skies, with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms, to other parts of eastern Visayas, northern Mindanao, and the regions of Caraga and Davao. Cloudy skies with light rain will cover Cagayan Valley, the Bicol region, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, according to PAGASA. (Read PAGASA's full weather bulletin below.)
