MANILA, Philippines - Light rain and cloudy skies are in the forecast for eastern parts of Visayas and Mindanao Thursday, March 21, as a low pressure area (LPA) moves close to the area.
The low pressure area in the Pacific Ocean was last spotted 475 km east of Hinatuan, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its latest 24-hour public weather forecast.
As the LPA hovers east, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will have generally good weather, with some isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Prevailing winds will come from the east.
Temperatures will range from Baguio City's low of 16 degrees Celsius, to Tuguegarao's high of 35 degrees Celsius.
