ITCZ, cold front still bringing wet weather

MANILA, Philippines – Northern Luzon and the Zamboanga peninsula will have cloudy skies and rain Thursday, May 23.

The diffused tail-end of a cold front is affecting north Luzon, while an intertropical convergence zone continues to affect southern Mindanao.

State weather bureau PAGASA said Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, and the Zamboanga peninsula will have cloudy skies accompanied by light to moderate rain.

Isolated rain or thunderstorms accompanying partly cloudy skies is in the forecast for the rest of the archipelago, the bureau’s 24-hour weather forecast said Wednesday, May 22.
