Rain in north, central Luzon, Zambo

MANILA, Philippines – Rain is still in the forecast for large parts of Luzon and the Zamboanga peninsula Tuesday, May 28.

The diffused tail-end of a cold front is still affecting Northern and Central Luzon, while southern Mindanao will still be affected by an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms will be felt in Metro Manila, Ilocos, Cordilleras, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon in Luzon, and the Zamboanga peninsula in Mindanao.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rain, particulary in the west, the bureau said in its 24-hour forecast Monday, May 27.
