Rain in south Luzon, parts of Visayas, Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines – Parts of southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have a rainy Thursday, May 30, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

Mindanao continues to be affected by an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the bureau said in its 24-hour public weather forecast Wednesday, May 29.

Mindanao, Eastern and Western Visayas, Palawan, and Bicol will have cloudy skies accompanied by light to moderate rain and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies, with isolated rains particularly over the west.

No tropical cyclone is within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau added.
