MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – The entire country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies on Saturday, May 17, said state weather bureau PAGASA.

The agency said the country is also bound to experience isolated rains and thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

A ridge of high pressure area is extending across Luzon. 

Northern and Central Luzon can expect light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to south. In other parts of the country, light to moderate winds from the east to southeast will prevail.

These winds will make coastal waters slight to moderate.
