Occasional rains for parts of Luzon on Saturday

MANILA, Philippines – Ilocos region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the provinces of Zambales and Bataan will have occasional rains on Saturday, July 26, state weather bureau PAGASA said. 

In its 5 pm bulletin on Friday, July 25, PAGASA said the low pressure area (LPA) is now at 920 km east of Mindanao. The southwest monsoon is also affecting the western section of Luzon. 

The regions of Caraga and Davao will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. 

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.  

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough as moderate to strong winds blow from the southwest over the western section of Luzon. 

They will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from southwest to west over the rest of the country.
